Childcare Worker/Nutritional Assistant (Cook) — Full Time, Permanent
Manitoulin Family Resources requires 1 full-time Nutritional Assistant/Childcare Worker. This position will be working with children from infant to school age providing nutritional support through the preparation and planning of meals along with providing support on the floor. The positions will be based out of our Little Current Child Care Centre location with occasional work in Mindemoya on an as needed basis.

Manitoulin Family Resources requires 1 casual Frontline Shelter Worker to support women and children in our emergency residence/shelter program. The Frontline Shelter Worker provides supportive counselling, crisis intervention, and advocacy to women and children residing at the shelter, as well as telephone counselling and support through crisis line coverage. As a single-staff model of operation in a residential environment, responsibilities pertaining to health and safety in a fast-paced atmosphere and household duties such as cooking and cleaning are required in addition to the provision of individual counselling, in-house client workshops, safety assessments, and navigation to other services.

Manitoulin Family Resources requires 1 full-time Home Childcare Supervisor to oversee our home childcare providers. The Home Childcare Supervisor provides support to our children services team working closely with Home Childcare Providers attending home visits, maintaining files, ensuring adequate equipment, monitoring performance, setting training goals, stays up to date with current legislation, knowledge of current trends or philosophies in ECE field, recording of statistical data, and ensuring the overall safety of the children and providers.
